Plans and available tools

Tutor IDE offers Free and Hobby for individual learning, Teacher for teaching, and School for school management and a teaching team.

The active workspace's plan, limits and settings determine which tools are available. A teacher does not need to buy a personal plan to join an existing school.

School owners

Open billing to check the current plan, available places and any subscription change before confirming it. If you are handing over a class, check the teacher limit before inviting a colleague. Do not create a second school just to add a teacher to an existing class.

Teachers and students

Ask the owner if a tool is missing or a limit prevents work. Joining a school does not give access to its billing. See who can do what.
